On the 18th of October, 2015 Ecole Globale International Girls’ School celebrated their 4th Founders Day with much pomp and show. After the lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, the choir broke into a melodious prayer song. The melodious vibration of ‘Sangachatwam’ under the guidance of Mr. Subashish Ghosh and Ms. Laxmi Mishra reverberated through the hearts of the audience. The evening began with the students welcoming the Chief Guest Shri S. P. Rana, Joint Secretary & Chief Vigilance Officer, CBSE with bouquets. The President of the school Mr. Amarjeet Juneja addressed the gathering. The school captain gave a speech followed by the Principal’s Annual Report.

The Chief Guest was then invited onto the stage to address the gathering.qa

The annual magazine ‘The Banyan’ carried by Neichingoi Kipgen was released by the Chief Guest. The school captain Gunisha Arora then gave the Chief Guests mementos.

This was followed by the entertainment section of the evening. “Ecole Saga”, a poem in the form of a dance which depicted the four elements of the earth was then performed. Ecole is the space which houses in itself the four essential elements namely, air to breath, the earth that nurtures living, water the elixir of life and fire that burns bright in the hearts of all living beings keeping them alive.

The main attraction for the evening was a dance drama directed by Mr Alok Ulfat titled ‘If You’ll Be Glad I’ll Be Frank’. The theme of this play was to depict how man has become slave to time. Each one is busy running their lives mechanically. Human emotions are shunned and materialism is fore grounded. Ecoliers had put up a spectacular performance. The dances were lively, well coordinated and of a high level. The acting skills of the students left the audience cheering for more.

This was followed by the vote of thanks given out by the CCA Captain Tansu Ahmed. On this occasion, board of directors Mr Madanjeet Juneja, Mr Tarunjyot Juneja, & Mr Gaganjyot Juneja as well as principals from the renowned schools Ms Sonia Ahuja & Mr. Ashish Arora, The Kasiga School, Mrs. Preeti Singh Rathore, Vantage Hall Girls’ Residential School, Mr Rashid Sharfuddin, Selaqui International School and Mrs Bindu Sharma, APS Birpur, etc were present to witness the function.

The evening was brought to a close with the National Anthem and a sumptuous dinner for the students and the guests.
